The Eastern end of Ban Xai is a small village known as Pong Hor. This one room school is for the first year of children going to school so they are about 6 to 7 to 8 years old. After they complete this year they can then go to the main primary school which is near MiVAC’s 1.5 Hectare development block (this is about 4 kilometres west.)

This school had a dirt floor until MiVAC provided the sand, gravel and cement plus supervision by our manager Yang Xang to build a concrete floor.  Well done Yang – there is always a party afterwards and I am told that Yang enjoyed that.
